Nothing Phone 4a Pro Leak Reveals Bigger Battery, Faster Charging, and Long-Term Support

Nothing is preparing to expand its smartphone lineup with the Nothing Phone 4a Pro, promising improvements in battery capacity, charging speed, and software longevity. While the company has yet to make an official announcement, recent certification filings have provided key details about the device.

Bigger Battery and Faster Charging

According to the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro will feature a 5,080mAh battery, an upgrade over previous models in the series. The device is also listed with 50W wired charging, suggesting significantly shorter charging times for users.

The certification highlights the phone’s battery durability, stating it could retain up to 80% of its original capacity after 1,400 full charging cycles. This indicates that Nothing is aiming for long-term usability, catering to users who keep their phones for multiple years rather than upgrading frequently.

Software and Durability

The leaked data confirms that the Nothing Phone 4a Pro will run on Android, although the exact version remains unannounced. Reports indicate the device could launch with the latest Android version available at release and may receive up to five years of software support, including security and system updates.

Additionally, the phone is expected to carry an IP65 rating, offering protection against dust and water. The certification also suggests a moderate repairability score, meaning the device could be serviced with relative ease.

Expected Pricing and Colour Options

While Nothing has not confirmed pricing, leaks suggest the Phone 4a Pro may cost around $540 (approximately Rs. 49,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Colour options are expected to include black, blue, pink, and white, giving users a variety of choices.

With these upgrades, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro aims to offer better battery life, faster charging, and long-term software support, positioning itself as a competitive mid-to-high-end smartphone option.
