Border 2 worldwide box office performance continues to impress, with the war drama maintaining strong momentum even on its first non-holiday weekday. Starring Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan, the film has pushed its global earnings close to the ₹300 crore mark within just five days of release.
Border 2 Box Office Performance So Far
After a solid opening, Border 2 collected ₹180 crore worldwide in its first four days, buoyed by an extended weekend and a massive ₹59 crore haul on Republic Day. Strong word of mouth helped the film nearly double its daily collections between Friday and Monday.
On Tuesday, the film saw its first expected weekday dip but still delivered a robust performance, earning over ₹19 crore net in India. This takes its five-day domestic total to ₹199.50 crore net, translating to ₹235.40 crore gross.
Overseas markets have also responded positively. The film has earned approximately $4.5 million internationally, pushing its worldwide collection to around ₹275 crore by the end of Day 5.
Border 2 Surpasses Major Box Office Hits
With this performance, Border 2 has overtaken the lifetime collections of several popular Hindi films. On Tuesday, it crossed the global totals of Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par (₹266 crore) and Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (₹267 crore).
The film is now eyeing the ₹300 crore worldwide mark, which trade estimates suggest could be achieved by Thursday morning. It is also emerging as a strong contender to become one of the highest-grossing Hindi war dramas, challenging benchmarks set by Uri and Fighter.

Following the film’s box office success, T-Series has confirmed that Border 3 is being considered, signaling the continuation of the popular war-drama franchise.
