The actor’s visit to Murshidabad coincided with the recording of the title track for his son Junaid Khan’s upcoming film, Ek Din.

In the viral video, Aamir Khan is seen candidly urging Arijit not to step away from singing for Hindi cinema. “Aise mat kar yaar, hum logon ka kya hoga bhai?” he says, loosely translating to, “Don’t do this, man, what will happen to us?”

The clip begins with a warm welcome as Arijit greets Aamir by touching his feet before embracing him. The atmosphere is intimate and grounded, reflecting the long-standing admiration between the two artists. The video concludes with a touching exchange as Arijit attempts to touch Aamir’s feet in respect, the actor gently stops him and instead bows to touch Arijit’s feet.

Arijit Singh’s Retirement Announcement

While clarifying that he would continue making music independently, Arijit stated that he intends to complete his current commitments but will not sing for Bollywood films going forward. He added that he hopes the new generation of artists will step forward and inspire him with their talent.
